The Hypnotherapy Report

The Hypnotherapy Report (Just Released!)

The one thing that is preventing most professional hypnotherapists from enjoying the success they deserve and are capable of

The market for what we do is unlimited, yet I’ve lost count of the number of times a professional therapist has told me they are thinking of packing up because too many new competitors are coming along. This belief is totally and utterly flawed in its logic.

As far as I’m concerned, the biggest opening for success in business now is for people who are professional, skilled and committed to helping others find effective solutions for a happy, successful, fulfilled life.

The great contradiction is that people who have a great capacity for helping others just don’t know how to build their business the right way or how to effectively communicate to the marketplace that needs their services the most.

If you are a practicing hypnotherapist or even just considering entering this exciting and rewarding profession then please keep in touch and keep visiting this blog. I’ve got so much to share with you!

If you’ve read The Hypnotherapy Report then I’d love for you to leave your comments and questions here.

    Really helpful..
Good marketing tips….. especially ‘Sell the sizzle…not the sausage’.. when it comes to ‘regression, analysis etc’.

I will definitely pass your link to my association, the IAPH.

    Thanks Ed…. keep them coming.

    John Hairsine.

  3. Hi Ed,
Wow! Thank you for sharing such helpful, much needed, down to earth information. I am a
Hypnotherapy Trainer with many years of experience in the field. This is the best concisely written information I have read on the subject. It will be invaluable for new and up coming hypotherapists.

I can’t wait to share it with my new and old students and with my association IACH and
    IHF.

Thank you for sharing, it’s much appreciated

I am just starting out and will finish my certification next week. Great information! Covers a lot of information whether just starting out or trying to refine your business. Helped quite a big in releasing my concerns as a new hypnotherapist. Looking forward to learning more.

    Thank you.

  6. Steph says:

The most helpful thing in the report is the advice to be myself. I trained first as a counsellor and learned the importance of authenticity but so much advice to hypnotherapists seems to include “pretend to be a high powered business executive”. I just want to be myself, a friendly sort of ordinary person, and an optimist with some skills and a strong belief that everyone has the power to change.

Reading your report as really instilled me with confidence and i now truly beleive that by trusting in myself and my instincts i can go on to build a succesful practice and become a competent hypnotherapist, this repoort has really inspired me especially as i am newly qualified and just about to set up in business and was beginning to have all of the niggling doubts about embarking on a new venture. Now i feel more motivated than ever. thankyou.

  13. Hi Ed,

Thanks for the inspiring read. I recently qualified as a hypnotherapist and then immigrated to the UK, so haven’t set up a practice as yet. In the months between qualifying and where I am today, just about most of the points raised in this very well written report has crossed my mind at some stage. This is exactly what I needed to read, at exactly this point on my journey, so thanks for the synchronicity!

  14. Thanks Ed, you have given me more encouragement that my choice to become a hypnotherapist was a good choice. I do have fears, which your advice is correct, just move past them and do the work which I desire, in helping others.

I have not set up my office yet as I have recently graduated, so I’m constructing my website and looking for a good office space to start my practice.

Thank you for your delightful and inspiring report.

    Best Regards,

    Brenda

  15. Barbara Parr says:

My office officially opens today, and I plan on implementing some of your great ideas. Of course, I have the usual new hypnotherapist jitters, am I good enough, will I get clients, etc, etc, etc. But with the help of this wonderful report and a couple great mentors of my own, I’m expanding my comfort zone immensely by opening an office. Looking forward to more ideas in the future.

    Thank you,
    Barbara

  16. Lesley says:

  21. sue says:

    Hi Ed,

I finished my hypnotherapy diploma nearly 2 years ago, found it slow going & a tad overwhelming in working out what to do & when, to make my career successful. So I continued to work my normal job ((real estate – lots of marketing experience) and then did a small business certificate. Bottom line is its taken me 2 years to get the understanding of what to do to be successful and now I can put it all together from all these different sources, I discover your website! Talk about doing things the long way round!
Am very impressed with how you’re tying it all together – the need for hypnotherapists to have business skills in order to run a business – sounds a little obvious, really, but most I’ve come across don’t have the them & look for every other excuse for why they’re not successful.
Coming from a real estate franchise, I also see the sense in encouraging & working together as hypnotherapists. The more hypnotherapists out there, the more people become aware – everyone benefits. However, my personal experience has been that a lot feel their business is threatened by having more hypnotherapists and are more competitive than co-operative. Sad…
So bottom line, like what your doing, wish I’d discovered you 2 years ago and will continue to keep up with you!
    Thanx,
    Sue

  22. Stephanie says:

    Hello Ed,

Thank you for your ‘Hypnotherapy Report’, which I have today read and re-read, cut and paste onto a personal summary sheet, and am now working through! I had already set up a hypnotherapy practice in 2009, adding counselling this year, and had been experiencing very much some of those insecure feelings, and have already done some self-hypnosis to get me this far – yay! Having felt a slump in my faith in my business enthusiasm/drive (never the beautiful and humbling therapeutic space), and unsure of where to go with myself next (though VERY aware of my own inner need for authenticity in my work somehow conflicting with my limited knowledge of marketing styles!), I have now read this report and feel more motivated to push on… in my own way, following and supporting my own unique self pro-actively – I am doing GREAT when I look at the bigger picture of my journey! Big sigh..
Kind regards, and many thanks again, Stephanie

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the Hypnotherapy Report. I have actually rewritten my front page on my website – trying to focus on what it can do for clients. Great piece of advice. Thanks so much.
