The Dancing Leader

This morning, I visited a blog post from a very respected business and marketing coach, Rich Schefren.

He had published an interesting post about leadership with a VERY funny accompanying video.

Anyway, it occurred to me that the guy ironically labeled a “dancing nutter” in this video was very similar to every successful business client I’ve ever met or worked with.

And it’s really the same for any of you who run a business seeking to help other people and improve their life quality.

Why?

Because he creates a success, not by trying to enlist hundreds of followers but by following a simple 2 step process

1. He realizes that all you have to really do is to find one or two ‘clients’ to take a chance on you.

2. You give them a fantastic experience – so good that they want to ‘give you referrals’.

The rest, as you will see, takes care of itself.

This video is fantastic if you meditate on it and understand the deeper lessons.

Enjoy!

Ed

Not being set up for business as yet, I realise I have the first 2 followers and I wasn’t aware of it because they are my wonderful supportive, neighbours.
I feel as though I have a start so this is motivational.

  3. That’s a powerful video. That can be true in any area of your life where you have a fear. We have to move throuogh the fear what ever the fear is about in order for the fear to go away. That video was about the fear of being ridiculed, rejected or mad fun of. Maybe the first person did not have any fear of any type about being first but then maybe he did have a fear of being first. But if you have a fear of being the first one then you have to go through the fear and be first, that is what I would call a leader, not that he wasn’t a leader. The only thing that stops anyone from doing anything is a fear, that’s all. What is great about hypnosis is, it can help a person eliminate their fear. Sitting here looking at it I can tell you I would have a little trouble being the first one but if I knew I had that fear I would make sure I was the first one and go through that fear. That is my opinion.
